With the recent fires in the North Bay, we’ve never been more proud to be part of a community that is showing so much compassion. Word from our northern neighbors is that one of the very best ways to help is to get ourselves up to Wine Country and frequent the locally owned restaurants.

Upcoming events & Some of Arrive Marin’s favorite Wine Country Spots

ChefsGiving Week: From November 13-19, more than 100 restaurants in the Bay Area and across the country will donate to support North Bay fire relief efforts. You can see the still growing list of participating restaurants here.

Valette Healdsburg This chic spot is owned by two brothers with an incredible passion for local farmers and winemakers. Valette is one of the many generous participants in ChefsGiving Week.  The Caramelized Butternut Squash Pasta with 18-month prosciutto, house made ricotta and brown butter & sage jus is pure perfection.

Mustache Baked Goods Do yourself a favor and add this darling bakery (chefs pictured above) to your must-visit list. Their cupcakes are inventive and oh-so-tasty. We are crazy for The Outlaw: a caramel filled chocolate cupcake with sea salt.

Boon Fly Cafe Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Boon Fly Cafe in Napa serves up modern rustic cuisine in a contemporary roadhouse atmosphere. Do not miss their signature Boon Fly donuts which we find especially delightful alongside a foamy latte.

Fremont Diner  Favorite menu items like Bucket of Biscuits and Nashville Chicken & Waffles have a cult-like following. Did we mention the small batch brewery selections and the heavenly chocolate chip cookies?  This place had us at Hello.

Glen Ellen Star  This little gem of a place is about as cozy as they come. Book a quiet table for date night or saddle up to the bar which overlooks the open kitchen. Check their website for Neighborhood Nights for an exclusive 2-course dinner for $35.

The Spinster Sisters  Inventive comfort food is on the menu at this Santa Rosa Bohemian bistro. There are so many delicious menu items that we like to order small plates so we can try them all! Sweet and Spicy Pepper Bombs with goat cheese are a real standout.

Diavola Pizzeria This Geyserville favorite is not to be missed. Not only are their wood-burning oven pizzas incredible, but their house cured salumi and artisanal pasta dishes are spectacular. Go hungry for the Spaghettini with Pork Cheek Ragu.
