We might love Cowgirl Creamery because it was started by two longtime girlfriends (sound familiar?), or perhaps it’s because their most popular cheese is named after the most recognizable landscape feature in Marin, the beautiful Mt Tamalpais. Either way, their award-winning cheeses are made right here in West Marin and used by the best chefs and restaurants around the country.
While all of Cowgirl Creamery cheeses are delicious, we’re partial to Red Hawk, a sumptuous triple cream that is divine served with a fresh baguette and fig jam. Finish that picture with a crisp Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc and we’re all in!
