Do yourself a favor and introduce yourself to newcomer Posie, in downtown Larkspur. While this joint boasts fantastic artisanal ice cream flavors like blackberry violet and buttered whiskey, we are just crazy about their open-faced seasonal tartines. We’ve tried the burrata with tomatoes & fresh herbs and the goat cheese with honey & lavender. The tartines are served on M.H. Bread & Butter’s (perfect) bread and come with a side of addictive pickled vegetables and a bite-sized housemade dessert.

We must admit we find the price a tad on the high side, but we can give full props to the amount of attention and love we can see (literally, it’s an open kitchen) Posie’s chef/owner putting into creating each mouth-watering bite. Our suggestion: make it a destination for a lazy weekend family bike ride.
